Yuva Dance Academy — Policies & Waiver

Effective from enrollment — policies reviewed annually.

Fee & Payment Policies

1. All tuition fees must be paid in full and on time as per the agreed schedule.
2. Statements will be sent by the 8th of each month; fees are to be paid immediately upon receipt to avoid late charges.
3. All payments are non-refundable under any circumstances, including withdrawals or missed classes.
4. Recital fees are due one month before the event date and are mandatory for participation.
5. A lump-sum payment option is available. A payment of $10 will be credited toward the tuition fees.
6. Discounts are subject to management approval and will only be offered if officially announced by Yuva Dance Academy.
7. Leave Policy: Full monthly fees are charged for short-term absences. Only continuous leave exceeding one full month with a prior 30 days written notice may be considered for fee adjustments.
8. If a student takes a full month off and wishes to rejoin, they must pay a rejoining fee of $30 in addition to resuming monthly tuition.
9. Commitment Periods: September to December and February to June are commitment periods. Early termination during a commitment period will incur a fee of $75.
   If there is an early termination fee of $75, it means there is an early termination fee during the commitment period if you have to withdraw.
10. All fees must be paid before the student resumes classes after a break.
11. We commit to four classes a month.
12. Management and parent meetings will be scheduled every alternate month.

Attendance & Leave Policies

1. Students are expected to attend all scheduled classes.
2. If a class is canceled due to weather or instructor’s absence, a virtual makeup class will be scheduled within 7–30 days.
3. Students missing more than two consecutive weeks without notice may forfeit their spot.
4. December break policies and associated fees will be reviewed each season and communicated in advance.

Miscellaneous Policies

1. The academy reserves the right to change class schedules, instructors, or policies at any time with notice.
2. In emergencies, the academy will follow safety protocols for student well-being.
3. Parents are encouraged to discuss concerns with administration respectfully.

Classroom Conduct & Attire

1. Students must wear appropriate dance attire and footwear for every class.
2. Hair must be neatly tied back.
3. No eating, chewing gum, or drinking (except water) in the dance area.
4. Respect towards instructors, classmates, and staff is mandatory.
5. Parents/visitors are not permitted in the classroom unless authorized.
6. Students must follow instructor directions respectfully.
7. Personal belongings should be kept in designated areas.
8. Students must arrive on time; late arrivals may not be allowed after 15 minutes.
9. Use the restroom before class to avoid interruptions.
10. No running or horseplay in the studio.
11. Devices must be on silent mode during class.
12. Outside food or drinks are not allowed.
13. Respect studio property and report any damage immediately.
14. Parents should pick up their child on time.

Recitals, Events & Performances

1. Recital participation requires full payment and regular attendance.
2. Missing more than two rehearsals may result in exclusion.
3. Costumes must be rented through the academy.
4. All event details will be communicated in advance.
5. Parents must ensure timely arrival for performances.

Health & Safety

1. Students feeling unwell should not attend class.
2. Inform instructors of any injuries before class.
3. Proper warm-up and cool-down are mandatory.

Waiver — Acknowledgment & Release

Acknowledgment of Risk

Participation in Yuva Dance Academy activities involves inherent risks, including slips, falls, strains, or injury. In rare cases, it may result in serious injury or disability.

Assumption of Risk

I voluntarily choose to participate (or for my child to participate) and assume all risks, known or unknown.

Release of Liability

I release Yuva Dance Academy, its owners, staff, and affiliates from all claims arising out of injury, illness, or death occurring during academy activities.

Medical Treatment Consent

I consent to emergency medical treatment deemed necessary and understand that I am responsible for related costs.

General Waivers

Enrollment constitutes acceptance of all policies. Violations may lead to suspension or termination without refund.

Media & Communication

1. The academy may take photos/videos for promotional use unless parents opt out in writing.
2. All official communication will be via registered email or WhatsApp.
3. Parents/students must keep contact details updated.

Policy Updates

The academy reviews and updates policies annually. Changes will be communicated to all active members.
